KVK, Kottayam attached to RARS, Kumarakom started extension activities as remandated ZARS under NATP. supported by the scientists of the station in addition to their regular research works.

KVK, Kottayam has been upgraded to a full fledged KVK supported by 16 staff members with the financial  assistance from ICAR since April 2004. We organise  several training programmes and lay out a number of FLD and OFT in  agriculture and allied enterprises
